White Monkey Paw is made from the top two leaves and the bud of new season growth. You will see that the leaves still have the "hairy down" on them. which indicates that these particular leaves were plucked very early in the morning and within the first two weeks of the new season of growth. These delicate leaves are gently and gingerly steamed and dried so the end reult is and exquistite hand made green tea. When you infuse this tea you will witness the delicate two leaves and a bud uncurl in your cup almost coming back to life! The dry leag appearance of these leaves are said resemble a monkey paw. Even thoug this is a green tea with it's pale green infusion, the velvety smooth liquour is so delicate that is can also be almost considered a white tea.
